Structure and Working Principle
Dual-Valve Linkage System
Main Valve: Adopts a piston-type structure (diaphragm type for pipes below DN450, piston type for pipes DN600 and above), controlling water flow via hydraulic drive.
Float Pilot Valve: Directly senses liquid level changes. When the water level reaches the set height, the pilot valve closes, pushing the main valve piston to cut off the water supply. When the water level drops, it opens in reverse to replenish water.
Piping System: Includes a micro-filter and ball valves A/B to ensure clean water flow in the control chamber, preventing interference from impurities.
Hydraulic Self-Control Characteristics
Operates via pipeline water pressure, requiring no external energy or electrical control system. The combination of rubber sealing rings and hydraulic closing force ensures sealing reliability (leakage rate ≤0.5% of rated capacity).
Full-channel streamlined valve body design results in extremely low flow resistance (pressure loss <0.01 MPa at a flow velocity of 2 m/s).
Key Performance Parameters
| Parameter | Indicator | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Nominal Pressure | 0.6–4.0 MPa (six options available) | High-pressure options available up to 10.0 MPa. |
| Operating Temp. | -5°C to 80°C (standard) | High-temperature applications require custom metal seals. |
| Control Accuracy | ±1 cm level error, unaffected by water pressure fluctuations. | Float pilot valve directly senses the liquid surface. |
| Fatigue Life | Sealing components withstand ≥20,000 opening/closing cycles. | Rubber sealing rings require periodic replacement. |
Core Functions and Applications
Automatic Liquid Level Control
Tank/Reservoir Inlet Management: Automatically shuts off the valve when the water level reaches the limit and opens the valve to replenish water when the level drops, maintaining the set liquid level.
Firefighting-Dual Water Supply System: Emergency cutoff of domestic water to ensure firefighting water pressure (requires a three-way solenoid valve).
Industry-Specific Solutions
| Field | Scenario | Technical Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Municipal Water Supply | Liquid level regulation in high-rise building tanks and water towers. | Cast iron valve body with rubber sealing (for clean water media). |
| Chemical Processes | Corrosive environments (pH 0–14). | 316L stainless steel with PTFE-lined valve disc. |
| Energy Systems | High-temperature water pipelines (≤80°C). | Steel valve body with metal hard sealing. |
Installation and Maintenance Guidelines
Installation Key Requirements
Flow Alignment: The valve body arrow must be strictly parallel to the medium flow direction. Reverse installation causes functional failure.
Support to Prevent Deformation: Valves DN≥80 require independent supports to avoid pipe stress squeezing the valve body.
Space Reservation: For vertical installation, the valve stem should face outward, leaving space for maintenance.
Commissioning and Maintenance
First-Time Startup: Conduct a 1.5x nominal pressure strength test (holding pressure ≥5 minutes).
Regular Maintenance:
Clean the pilot valve filter every 3 months to prevent clogging.
Replace rubber sealing components every 2 years or after 20,000 operations.
