High-platform stainless steel ball valves use stainless steel (such as 304, 316L, etc.) as the valve body material. Their high-platform design (with flanges at both ends of the valve body directly connected to the actuator, eliminating the need for additional supports) enables rapid installation and maintenance. The core component is the ball, which controls fluid flow by rotating 90°. These valves are suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure, and highly corrosive media environments.

High Platform Stainless Steel Ball Valve Working Principle
Opening and Closing Mechanism
The ball has a through hole in its center. When aligned with the valve body's flow channel, the valve is fully open. After rotating 90°, the ball blocks the flow channel, and the valve closes.
Actuation Method: Manual (handle, worm gear), pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic, the ball is rotated via an actuator.
Sealing Structure
Soft Seal: Made of materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and nylon, suitable for low-temperature and low-pressure environments, offering good sealing performance but limited temperature resistance.
Hard Seal: The ball and valve seat use a metal-to-metal friction seal (such as stainless steel or hard alloy), resistant to high temperatures and pressures, but with slightly inferior sealing performance compared to a soft seal.
High Platform Stainless Steel Ball Valve Key Features
High Corrosion Resistance
The stainless steel material resists corrosive media such as chloride ions and sulfides, extending its service life.
Reliable sealing
Soft seal achieves zero leakage, hard seal is suitable for high-pressure conditions, and bidirectional sealing design prevents backflow of the medium.
Quick start and stop
The switch can be turned on and off with a 90° rotation, making it suitable for applications requiring rapid shut-off (such as emergency stop systems).
High platform design
Simplifies the installation process, allowing direct connection to pneumatic/electric actuators and reducing bracket costs.
High temperature and high pressure resistant
The hard-seal structure can withstand a high temperature of 600℃ and a high pressure of PN64 (6.4MPa), making it suitable for steam, heat transfer oil and other working conditions.
High Platform Stainless Steel Ball Valve Applications
Chemical Industry
Transporting highly corrosive media such as sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, replacing cast iron/carbon steel valves.
Oil & Gas
Used for on/off control of oil and gas pipelines, resistant to high pressure and hydrogen sulfide corrosion.
Food & Pharmaceutical
Materialized in 316L stainless steel, meeting hygiene standards, used for transporting pure water and pharmaceutical solutions.
Water Treatment
Resistant to chloride ion corrosion in seawater desalination and wastewater treatment systems.
Steam Systems
Hard-seal structure suitable for high-temperature steam pipelines, preventing leaks.
