GOST 5762 gate valve‌ is a type of metal valve that controls media flow by vertically moving the gate along the centerline of the passageway, achieving full open or full closed operation. The gate moves perpendicular to the fluid direction, with sealing types classified as ‌self-sealing‌ or ‌forced sealing‌. Structurally, it falls into two categories:

Wedge gate type‌ (including single-gate, double-gate, and elastic-gate designs)

Parallel gate type

The driving mechanisms consist of:

Rising stem (OS&Y)

Non-rising stem (rotating stem)

These valves are typically used in pipeline systems with ‌DN ≥ 50mm‌ but can also be applied to small-caliber cutoff devices.

Features

The ‌elastic-seal gate valve‌ adopts a flat-bottom design identical to pipelines, minimizing debris accumulation and ensuring unobstructed fluid flow.

Full Rubber Lining‌:

The gate is fully lined with high-quality rubber (inner and outer layers) using ‌top-tier European vulcanization technology‌, ensuring precise geometric dimensions, strong adhesion to the ductile iron gate, and excellent elastic memory.

Precision-cast Body‌:

The valve body is precision-cast, achieving exact geometric dimensions that guarantee sealing without additional internal machining.
