Electric Flange Knife Gate Valve

Electric flange knife gate valve is a valve with flange connection. The electric actuator drives the blade-shaped gate to move vertically. It is specially used to cut off the pipeline system containing fiber, particles, and high-viscosity media (such as pulp, sewage, slag). It has the characteristics of low flow resistance, reliable sealing and strong cutting ability.

Sealing system:

Soft seal type: EPDM/PTFE valve seat, leakage level up to ANSI VI, suitable for clean media ≤100℃.

Hard seal type: gate plate welded with iron-based alloy or cobalt-based alloy, temperature resistance ≤425℃, suitable for high temperature and high wear scenarios.

Application and selection suggestions

Papermaking/wastewater treatment:
Preferably choose the fluorine-lined soft seal type (such as PZ943F-10P), DN200-DN500 models can effectively cut off fiber impurities;
‌Mining/coal preparation system:
Adapt to the hard-sealed stainless steel gate (such as Z943H-16C), resistant to particle erosion and with a service life of ≥5 years;
‌Chemical/power pipeline:
For high temperature conditions (≤425℃), choose the cladding carbide seal model, with a pressure resistance of PN16-PN25.

Selection considerations:

Installation method: The flange connection needs to match the pipeline standard (such as ANSI, DIN), and reserve space for the electric actuator operation;
‌Explosion-proof requirements: The chemical scene needs to be equipped with ExdⅡBT4 explosion-proof actuators, which support manual emergency operation.
