API Cast Steel Gate Valve Description

Structure
Valve body and sealing assembly:
- Valve body material: carbon steel (ASTM A216 WCB) or low alloy steel, part of the high temperature and high pressure scenes using stainless steel or carbide surfacing sealing surface.
- Gate and seat: wedge-type resilient gate structure, sealing surface using Stellite (Stellite) cobalt-based cemented carbide surfacing, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant.
- Valve stem: tempering treatment + surface nitriding, strong anti-scratch, some large-diameter models are equipped with rolling bearings to reduce the opening and closing torque.
Connection and auxiliary structure:
- Flange connection: conforms to ANSI or GB/T9113 standard, easy to install and seal.
- Inverted seal design: stainless steel threaded seal seat or body overlay welded austenitic stainless steel, support online replacement of packing.
Specification
Nominal diameter (DN): DN50~DN1200 (common range), full bore design.
Pressure Rating:
- American Standard: Class150, 300, 600, 900, 1500, 2500 (up to 42MPa).
- European standard: PN16~PN420.
- Structural length: in accordance with GB/T12221 or API 600 standards, the specific size is adjusted according to the through diameter and pressure level.
