Ss Check Valve

‌Stainless steel check valve‌ is an automatic valve that uses the ‌unidirectional flow characteristics‌ to prevent the backflow of the medium. The main body is made of 304/316 stainless steel, which has both high strength and corrosion resistance and is widely used in chemical, energy, municipal and other fields.

1. ‌Core components‌
‌Valve body and valve cover‌
Adopting casting or forging process, the pressure resistance level covers Class 150 to Class 2500 (up to 42.0MPa), and the applicable temperature range is -29℃~550℃.
‌Valve flap system‌
‌Lifting valve flap‌: vertical movement design (such as H41W model), sealing surface cladding cobalt-based cemented carbide, hardness ≥HRC45, suitable for high-pressure steam and particle-containing media; ‌Swing valve flap‌: hinge structure realizes swing closure, suitable for large-diameter pipes (DN≥300), head loss ≤0.02MPa.
‌Sealing form‌
Metal hard seal (zero leakage standard) or elastic seal (EPDM/NBR fluororubber), leakage level reaches ANSI Class VI.
2. ‌Working principle‌
‌Forward opening‌: The medium pressure pushes the valve disc away from the valve seat, and the flow resistance coefficient is as low as 0.1~0.3, meeting high flow requirements; ‌Reverse closing‌: When the medium flows back, the valve disc quickly resets by its own weight/spring force (closing time ≤0.5 seconds), blocking the backflow and reducing the water hammer impact.

Applications
‌Chemical and Energy Fields‌
Prevent backflow of liquefied natural gas (LNG) pipelines, Class 600 high pressure conditions;
Boiler water supply system of thermal power plant (pressure ≤25MPa), to prevent high temperature steam from backflowing and damaging the pump unit.
‌Municipal and Environmental Engineering‌
Transport of impure media (particle diameter ≤5mm) in sewage treatment plants, anti-scouring life ≥100,000 times;
Prevent backflow in building water supply and drainage systems, reducing the risk of pipeline rupture caused by water hammer.
‌Special Medium Environment‌
Desalination system, ship ballast water pipeline, with 316L valve body and EPDM sealing ring to resist salt spray corrosion;
Transport of acidic media (pH 5-10), spraying epoxy resin to enhance corrosion resistance.
