Description
Cryogenic swing check valve is an automatic valve specially used for low-temperature working conditions (such as liquefied natural gas, liquid nitrogen and other media). It relies on the flow of the medium itself to control the opening and closing of the valve disc to prevent the medium from flowing back, the pump from reversing and the pressure relief of the container from being out of control. Its design must meet the extreme low-temperature environment below -196℃ to ensure the reliability of sealing and the sensitivity of action.
Core structure
Valve body and material:
Low-temperature adaptability: The valve body is made of low-temperature steel (such as LCB), austenitic stainless steel (304/316L) or duplex steel (F51/F53) to avoid the failure of cold brittleness of the material;
Sealing component: The metal valve seat and valve disc are matched (hard alloy can be optionally surfacing) to improve the low-temperature sealing performance.
Valve disc design:
Swing structure: The valve disc rotates around the axis through the hinge, relying on gravity or spring assistance to quickly reset and reduce the closing impact;
Anti-freezing design: The contact surface between the valve disc and the valve seat is prevented from ice jam under low-temperature working conditions.
Connection method: flange or clamp installation, suitable for low-temperature piping system layout.
Technical parameters Temperature range: -196℃~+80℃ (special design can be extended to +200℃); Pressure level: Class150~600Lb (PN10~100MPa); Diameter range: DN50~1200mm (NPS 2"~48"); Leakage level: meets ANSI Class V standard, no risk of leakage of low-temperature media.
