PTFE Check Valve

‌PTFE check valve‌ is a one-way valve with ‌polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)‌ as the key sealing or lining material. It automatically controls the one-way flow of fluid through the medium pressure and is widely used in highly corrosive, high-purity or ultra-clean working conditions. Its core features include:

‌Valve body and sealing material‌: The valve body is made of cast steel, stainless steel and other base materials, lined with PTFE or perfluorinated material, with a temperature range of -50℃~200℃, and can withstand strong acids (such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid), strong alkalis and organic solvents;
‌Structural form‌: Common types include lift type (H41F4), swing type (H44F4) and wafer type. The sealing surface adopts PTFE metal composite structure or pure PTFE elastic seal, and the leakage level reaches ANSI Class VI;
‌Applicable media‌: acid, corrosive gas, semiconductor ultra-pure chemicals (such as hydrofluoric acid, photoresist), etc.
Working principle and performance advantages
‌Workflow‌
‌Forward flow‌: The medium pressure pushes the valve disc (PTFE coating) away from the valve seat, and the flow resistance coefficient is as low as 0.08~0.15, which is suitable for high flow requirements; ‌Reverse closing‌: When the medium flows back, the valve disc quickly resets through the spring preload or deadweight (closing time ≤ 0.5 seconds), blocking the backflow and reducing the water hammer impact.
‌Technical advantages‌

‌Corrosion resistance‌: PTFE lining can resist extreme media such as 98% concentrated sulfuric acid and boiling hydrochloric acid, and the service life is more than 5 years; ‌Anti-adhesion‌: The surface friction coefficient is as low as 0.04, which prevents the medium from crystallizing or particles from adhering, and is suitable for viscous fluids (such as resins and slurries); ‌Cleanliness guarantee‌: The perfluorinated material avoids the precipitation of metal ions and meets the GMP standards of the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries.

Applications
‌Semiconductor and electronics industry‌

Transport of high-purity chemicals (such as etching solution and developer) in chip manufacturing to prevent cross contamination;
Prevent gas backflow in vacuum system (≤10⁻⁶ Pa), with PTFE bellows sealing design.
‌Chemical and environmental protection fields‌

Strong acid storage tank outlet pipeline (pH 0~2 working condition) to avoid corrosive media backflow and damage to the pump body;
Particle-containing sewage treatment system (particle diameter ≤3mm), anti-scouring life ≥80,000 times.
‌Special industry adaptation‌

Food-grade PTFE check valve is used for dairy and beverage production lines, in compliance with FDA certification standards;
Nuclear power auxiliary circuit cooling water system, radiation dose rate ≥10⁴ Gy/h.
