Carbon steel lift check valve operates with a spool that moves in a reciprocating linear motion, unlike the spin-up check valve and butterfly check valve, which use rotary motion for their spools. The carbon steel lift check valve is suitable for nominal pressures ranging from 1.6 to 6.4 MPa and working temperatures from -29 to 550°C. It is used in pipelines for petroleum, chemical, and thermal power station applications to prevent reverse flow of media. Applicable media include water, oil, steam, and others.
