Pressure Seal Swing Check Valve Description
Pressure-sealed swing check valve is a valve that achieves one-way shutoff by rotating the valve disc around the axis. Its core feature is the use of a pressure-tightening sealing structure (such as a metal gasket or elastic sealing ring) to enhance the sealing performance under high-pressure conditions through medium pressure to effectively prevent leakage. It is suitable for high-pressure pipeline systems such as petroleum and chemical industries to prevent medium backflow and reduce water hammer effects.
Valve body and sealing components
Valve body material: Carbon steel (WCB), stainless steel (316/304) or duplex steel (2205), suitable for high pressure (≤PN420) and corrosive media.
Self-tightening sealing structure: Metal spiral wound gasket or O-ring is used between the valve cover and the valve body. When the medium pressure increases, the sealing surface pressure is enhanced to achieve zero leakage (leakage rate ≤0.01%).
Valve flap and drive design
Swing valve flap: The disc-shaped valve flap rotates around the rotating axis, and the streamlined channel reduces the flow resistance (30%~50% lower than the lifting type), which is suitable for large-diameter (DN50~DN1200) low flow rate scenarios.
Buffer mechanism: Some models have built-in damping springs or hydraulic buffers to reduce the impact of valve flap closing and avoid pipeline vibration.
