Single Plate Wafer Check Valve Description
Single plate wafer check valve is a valve that achieves one-way shutoff by rotating or lifting a single valve disc. Its core structure is a wafer-type installation (no flange connection), which relies on the medium's own pressure to drive the valve disc to open and close to prevent the medium from flowing back. The main components include:
Valve body: usually made of stainless steel (304/316) or UPVC, which is corrosion-resistant and suitable for low-pressure to medium-pressure conditions.
Valve disc: a single-piece disc design, which closes quickly through spring preload or gravity assistance to reduce water hammer impact.
Seal: rubber (NBR/EPDM) or metal hard seal (bronze/Stellite alloy) is used to ensure that the leakage rate is ≤0.01%.
