Rising stem ball valve is a valve design that drives the ball to rotate through an exposed stem. The rise and fall of the stem is directly related to the opening and closing state of the ball, which is convenient for observing the valve opening and is suitable for industrial scenarios that require frequent operation or visual control.
Features
Exposed stem design
The stem and the ball are mechanically connected. When operated manually or electrically, the stem rises and falls synchronously with the rotation of the ball, and the valve opening and closing state is intuitively displayed.
The stem seal is made of PTFE packing or graphite composite material, with a temperature resistance of up to 350°C, and supports online replacement of seals to reduce downtime maintenance time.
Material and process
The valve body and key components are mainly made of 304/316 stainless steel, and the forging process improves the strength. The pressure resistance level covers PN16-PN40.
The surface of the ball is sprayed with tungsten carbide coating (hardness HRC72-78), which is suitable for high wear conditions containing particulate media.
Drive mode
Supports manual worm gear, pneumatic or electric actuators, and some models integrate 4-20mA signal feedback, which is suitable for DCS system remote control.
