Top entry trunnion ball valve controls the switch and flow of the fluid based on the rotation of the valve core. When the valve core rotates to be parallel to the valve seat, the valve core hole is aligned with the valve seat hole, and the fluid can flow through the valve core hole and the valve seat hole to achieve the open state of the valve. When the valve core rotates 90 degrees, the valve core hole is perpendicular to the valve seat hole, the valve is closed, and the fluid cannot pass through the valve core hole and the valve seat hole, achieving the closed state of the valve. The maximum diameter of the top-mounted inlet trunnion-mounted ball valve has been developed to 60in, the highest pressure rating is 4500 pounds, the lowest temperature can reach liquid hydrogen temperature -254℃, and the highest temperature can reach 850~900℃. It is suitable for various media and gas-solid and liquid-solid two-phase flow, becoming the most promising type of valve.
