2 piece ball valve Description
Two-piece ball valve consists of a valve body (split type) and a valve cover, which are connected by bolts or threads and are suitable for medium and low pressure conditions of small and medium diameter pipelines (DN15-DN100).
Installation specifications:
Threaded connections require raw tape or sealant, and flange connections require alignment of bolt holes and symmetrical tightening;
Pipe impurities must be removed before installation to avoid scratching the sphere mirror (surface roughness Ra≤0.4μm).
Maintenance points:
Inject EP2 grease every quarter to reduce the valve stem rotation torque (recommended ≤50N·m);
Valve seat wear exceeds 0.5mm or the sealing surface is scratched and needs to be replaced.
