2-Way Flanged Ball Valves

Two-piece flange ball valve is a type of valve, belonging to a type of two-piece ball valve. It is mainly composed of a main valve body and an auxiliary valve body, which are connected together by threads or bolts. This structure makes the installation and disassembly of the ball valve relatively convenient, especially when the internal parts of the ball valve need to be repaired or replaced, just separate the auxiliary valve body from the main valve body. The key components such as the ball core, valve seat, and valve stem are located in the main valve body.

Working principle
Floating ball design: The ball presses the outlet seal ring under the medium pressure, which is suitable for medium-low pressure scenarios;
Fixed ball design: The ball is fixed and sealed by the floating valve seat, which is suitable for high pressure and large diameter pipelines.

 

2-Way Flanged Ball Valves

 

Applications:

Chemical and petroleum: To control corrosive media (such as acid and alkali), use 316 stainless steel valve body + carbide seal;
Water treatment and HVAC: Clean water and steam pipelines (DN15-DN50), preferably Q11F series soft-sealed ball valves;
Food and pharmaceutical: Sanitary SS316L material, in line with GMP standards, suitable for aseptic medium transportation.

Selection points:

Media matching: For fluids containing particles or high viscosity, hard seals or V-shaped balls should be selected, and PTFE soft seals are suitable for clean media;
Flange standard: Confirm that the flange specifications (such as HG/T20592, ASME B16.5) match the pipeline;
Drive mode: For high-frequency operation, it is recommended to configure a pneumatic actuator (AC220V/380V) or an explosion-proof electric device.
