ASTM A350 CF8M plug valve Description
CF8M Plug valves typically consist of a valve body, plug (core), sealing components, and actuation mechanism. The valve body is often designed as a short, thick cylinder or cone, offering a compact structure with minimal flow resistance. The plug, as the core component, achieves opening/closing via 90° rotation, with surfaces frequently chrome-plated or lined with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) to enhance wear resistance.
