Brass plug valve Description
Brass plug valve is a manually operated valve whose main function is to control the flow or cutoff of the fluid. The valve is usually composed of a valve body, a valve core, a valve stem, a handwheel, a seal and other components. Among them, the valve body is usually made of brass, which has good corrosion resistance and wear resistance; the valve core is made of copper core, which can effectively prevent the contamination of the fluid medium.

Tips:
Inapplicable standards: Due to material limitations, brass plug valves usually do not comply with API 6D/API 6A (standard for ultra-high pressure valves for oil pipelines).
Industry restrictions: Only used for water, steam, oil and non-corrosive gases, not suitable for acidic media or high-pressure hydrocarbon systems.
