Worm gear ball valve is an important valve type and is widely used in petrochemical industry, long-distance pipelines and other fields. The closing part of the ball valve is a ball (or partial ball) with a hole. The ball rotates with the valve stem to open or close the valve. Among various valves, the ball valve has the smallest flow resistance. When the full-diameter ball valve is opened, the diameters of the ball channel, valve body channel and connecting pipe are equal and become one diameter, and the medium can flow through with almost no loss. The ball valve can be fully closed and fully opened by rotating 90°, opening and closing quickly. Compared with gate valves and globe valves of the same specifications, ball valves are small in size and light in weight, making them easy to install in pipelines.

The Q341 worm gear floating ball valve is mainly used to cut off or connect the medium in the pipeline, and can also be used to regulate and control fluids. Compared with other valves, it has the following advantages.
1. Small fluid resistance. Ball valves have the smallest fluid resistance among all valve types. Even if they are reduced diameter ball valves, their fluid resistance is quite small.
2. The thrust bearing reduces the friction torque of the valve stem, allowing the valve stem to operate stably and flexibly for a long time.
3. The valve seat has good sealing performance. It uses a sealing ring made of elastic materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene. The structure is easy to seal. Moreover, the valve sealing capacity of the Q341 worm gear floating ball valve increases with the increase of the medium pressure.
4. The valve stem seal is reliable. Since the valve stem only rotates and does not move up and down, the packing seal of the valve stem is not easily damaged, and the sealing capacity increases as the pressure of the medium increases.
5. Since materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene have good self-lubricating properties and have small friction losses with the ball, the ball valve has a long service life.
6. The bottom-mounted valve stem and the convex steps on the valve stem head prevent the valve stem from spraying out. If the valve stem seal is damaged due to fire, metal contact can also be formed between the convex steps and the valve body to ensure the valve stem sealing.
7. Anti-static function: A spring is installed between the ball, valve stem and valve body, which can discharge the static electricity generated during the switching process.

  • Valve stem anti-leakage design:

Leakage: 0 meets ANSIB16.1045 standard

1. The valve stem adopts an anti-blowout design.

2. In the first stage of sealing, the tapered valve stem seal effectively prevents leakage of the medium during the rotation of the valve stem, and can also effectively prevent leakage under abnormal pressure increases.

3. In the second stage of sealing, a group of V-shaped combined packings expands to both sides after being compressed, thus preventing leakage.

4. Release the pre-tightening force of the disc spring to automatically compensate for the wear of the packing and valve stem seal.

5. Use the valve stem nut to tighten the entire valve stem sealing system to prevent leakage.

6. The anti-return pad fixes the valve stem nut to prevent it from loosening.
