Before installation, please make sure that the specifications, models, pressure levels, applicable media and other technical parameters of the butterfly valves you have purchased meet your requirements.
The preparation before installation
1. Check the valve - check whether the appearance of the valve is intact, there is no damage, deformation and other defects. - Check whether the valve stem is flexible, whether there is no stagnation phenomenon. - Check whether the sealing surface of the valve has scratches, wear and tear, etc.
2. clean up the pipeline - before installation should be cleaned up inside the pipeline debris, welding slag, rust, etc., to prevent damage to the valve or affect the normal operation of the valve.

Installation steps
1. Close the valve - Before installation, make sure the valve is completely closed.
2. Install gaskets - Install suitable gaskets between the pipe flanges, the material and specification of the gaskets should be selected according to the medium and pressure of the pipe.
3. install the valve - the clamped butterfly valve is placed between the pipe flanges, note that the direction of the valve should be consistent with the direction of the media flow. - Tighten the flange bolts evenly, so that the valve and pipeline tight connection, but do not over-tighten, so as not to damage the valve or gasket.
4. Check the installation - after the installation is completed, check whether the installation position of the valve is correct, whether the valve stem is vertical. - Check whether there is leakage at the flange connection, if there is leakage, tighten the bolts or replace the gaskets appropriately.

Precautions
1. When installing the valve, avoid the valve to be hit or twisted by external force, so as not to affect the performance and service life of the valve.
2. The installation position of the butterfly valve on the pipeline should be convenient for operation and maintenance.
3. During installation, if the valve is found to have quality problems or abnormalities, the installation should be stopped immediately and the supplier should be contacted.
4. after the installation is completed, debugging and test run should be carried out in accordance with the operating requirements of the valve to ensure that the valve works normally.
