C95800 ball valve is a nickel-aluminum bronze ball valve with a valve body machined from ASTM B148 UNSC95800 castings. It is suitable for corrosive media such as seawater, concentrated brine, sulfate, and various hydride solutions with a nominal pressure not exceeding PN40 and an operating temperature of -40℃ to 300℃. The main body of this valve is made of high-strength, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant bronze alloy. Its chemical composition (mass fraction) ranges as follows: Cu ≥ 79.0%, Al 8.5%~9.5%, Fe 3.5%~4.5%, Mn 0.8%~1.5%, Ni 4.0%~5.0%, Si ≤ 0.10%, Pb ≤ 0.03%, with iron content not exceeding nickel content. Its metallographic microstructure consists of α phase + Al phase + Fe-Al phase + K phase. The α phase is a solid solution of aluminum in copper, possessing a face-centered cubic lattice, exhibiting high mechanical properties and plastic deformation capacity. It is a fundamental component of aluminum bronze. The Ni-A and Fe-A phases have body-centered cubic lattices and play a role in refining grain size and precipitation hardening in the alloy. The K phase is actually a Ni-Fe-Al compound with an ordered body-centered cubic lattice and high hardness. This product can be used in operating conditions below 300℃, has good comprehensive mechanical properties, and exhibits high resistance to corrosion and erosion in seawater and concentrated salt water.
