The A105 forged steel fixed ball valve is a type of valve that controls fluid flow and shutoff by rotating a ball. Made of forged steel, it offers excellent pressure resistance and corrosion resistance. Unlike floating ball valves, the ball in a fixed ball valve remains stationary and does not shift due to fluid pressure, making it suitable for high-pressure, large-diameter, and harsh operating conditions.

Working Principle:

Ball-to-Seat Contact
The ball of the A105 forged steel fixed ball valve is connected to the valve body via a fixed trunnion (support shaft) and does not float with the flow of the medium.

90° Ball Rotation
When the operating device (e.g., pneumatic, electric, or manual) rotates the ball by 90°, the hole in the ball aligns with the pipeline, allowing fluid to pass through.

Closed Position
After rotating the ball 90°, the hole in the ball becomes perpendicular to the pipeline, cutting off the fluid flow.

Fixed Seat Sealing
The seat is fixed in the valve body and makes contact with the ball using either metal or soft sealing materials to ensure tight sealing.
