Cast Steel Flanged Swing Check Valve operates by using medium pressure to automatically open or close. This type of valve must be installed vertically and cannot be mounted horizontally. The valve opens when the medium flows in the direction that allows the disc to swing, and closes when the flow reverses. It is suitable for clean media but not recommended for use with media containing solid particles or high viscosity.
