Angle-type fix water line valve is a mechanical control valve that automatically opens and closes by sensing changes in liquid level with a float. This valve employs a diaphragm structure, consisting of a main valve, a float pilot valve, and a float. Water flow is controlled by the pressure difference between the upper and lower chambers: when the liquid level reaches a preset height, the float pilot valve closes, stopping the main valve's water supply; when the liquid level drops, the pilot valve opens, resuming water supply. Specifically designed for corner installation, it saves pipe bends and installation space, and features precise control, wear resistance, and a tight, leak-proof seal. Furthermore, it operates stably without the need for external power.
Working Principle
The angle-type constant water level valve adopts a diaphragm structure, consisting of a main valve, a float pilot valve, and a float. Water flow is controlled by the pressure difference between the upper and lower chambers:
When the water level rises to the preset height: the float pilot valve closes, the pressure in the upper chamber increases, pushing the diaphragm downwards to close the main valve, stopping water supply.
When the water level drops below the preset height: the float pilot valve opens, the pressure in the upper chamber decreases, and the pressure in the lower chamber pushes the diaphragm upwards to open the main valve, restoring water supply.
Structural Features
Angle Design: Designed specifically for corner installation, it can replace pipe bends, saving installation space (30% less space compared to straight valves).
Diaphragm Structure: A specially reinforced nylon diaphragm divides the valve body into upper and lower chambers, achieving opening and closing through pressure difference. It is wear-resistant and has a long service life.
Float Pilot Valve Control: The float moves in conjunction with the pilot valve according to water level changes, precisely adjusting the pressure in the upper and lower chambers to ensure accurate water level control.
Sealing Performance: Tightly sealed and leak-proof, avoiding water waste.
Technical Parameters
Applicable Medium: Clean water.
Operating Pressure: 0.2~1.0MPa (some models can reach a maximum working pressure of 0.6MPa).
Temperature Range: 0-80℃.
Nominal Diameter: DN50-300 (some models support DN15-DN150).
Valve Body Material: Cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel.
Connection Method: Flange connection.
Applications
Water Tank/Tower Level Control: Automatically maintains a stable water level in the tank, preventing overflow or drying out.
Parallel System for Firefighting and Domestic Water: Cuts off domestic water supply during a fire to ensure firefighting water supply; automatically restores domestic water supply after a fire, eliminating the need for a separate fire protection network and reducing construction costs.
Industrial Applications: Suitable for petrochemical, HVAC, and other scenarios requiring level control.
Installation and Maintenance
Installation Requirements:
Keep the arrow on the valve body aligned with the water flow direction.
When installed horizontally, the valve cover should face upwards, and a filter should be installed before the valve (to prevent clogging).
Use flange connections to ensure a tight seal.
Maintenance:
Regularly inspect the float, diaphragm, and sealing surfaces for wear, and replace any faulty parts promptly.
Clean the filter to prevent clogging that could affect valve performance.
