The core role of the high-pressure ball valve is to achieve reliable cut-off of high-pressure fluid, flow regulation and safety protection through a rigid rotating sphere, widely used in energy, chemical and other harsh conditions, the main functions are as follows:
1. The core cut-off function
High-pressure medium rapid cut-off
90 ° rotation can be achieved pipeline fully open / fully closed, emergency cut-off response time ≤ 1 second (such as oil pipeline overpressure protection).
Zero leakage sealing
Metal hard seal (alloy steel/stainless steel) or enhanced PTFE soft sealing, resistant to 20~50MPa high pressure and 540℃ high temperature working conditions, leakage rate ≤ 10-⁶ mbar-L Leakage rate ≤10-⁶ mbar-L/s.
2. Precision Flow and Pressure Control
Opening Proportional Adjustment
Precise control of the ball rotation angle through the positioner to regulate the flow of steam, high pressure gas/liquid (e.g. power station boiler system).
Low flow resistance conveying
Full bore design flow efficiency ≥ 99% to avoid high pressure fluid energy loss (natural gas long distance pipeline).
3. Safety Protection Mechanism
Automatic cut-off for overpressure
Equipped with spring reset device, the actuator can be shut down urgently when the system is overpressure (ESD function) to prevent the risk of explosion.
Anti-corrosion and fire protection design
Teflon coated valve body is resistant to strong acid/alkali corrosion (chemical reactor pipeline);
Metal sealing assembly meets API 607 fire protection standard, suitable for flammable and explosive environments.
4. Extreme working condition adaptability
Resistant to ultra-low temperature and high temperature
-196℃ LNG storage and transportation (stainless steel deep-cooling treatment valve body);
538℃ high temperature steam system (graphite seal + heat dissipation structure).
Resistant to impurity abrasion
Floating seat scraping design can handle slurry containing particles (slurry transport pipeline).
