The trunnion ball valve is suitable for a variety of harsh working conditions with its unique trunnion ball structure (the ball is supported by a double valve stem) and floating valve seat design. The main uses are as follows:
1. Key control of energy transmission
Long-distance pipeline cutoff
As the core cutoff valve of natural gas and oil trunk pipelines, it withstands high pressure ≥PN40 and large flow impact of pipe diameter ≥DN250.
LNG ultra-low temperature system
The stainless steel or special alloy valve body is suitable for -196℃ liquefied natural gas storage and transportation, and the spring preloaded valve seat ensures low-temperature sealing reliability.
2. Chemical process safety assurance
Corrosive medium control
Resistant to strong acid, alkali and hydrogen sulfide media (such as refinery reactor pipelines), PTFE/metal hard seals are used to prevent corrosion and leakage.
Impurity fluid management
The floating valve seat scraping design can handle particle-containing slurry (ore slurry, ash) to avoid valve seat clogging.
3. Precision control of industrial systems
High temperature and high pressure scenarios
Applicable to 538℃ high temperature steam systems (power plant boilers) and 350℃ chemical reaction pipelines, and the metal sealing structure is resistant to thermal deformation.
Automation control node
Low torque characteristics are suitable for electric/pneumatic actuators to achieve remote opening and closing or flow regulation (such as smart factory material conveying lines).
4. Application of special safety functions
Double cut-off relief (DBB)
When the valve cavity is overpressured, it automatically releases pressure to the pipeline to prevent explosion risks (chemical equipment safety interlock system).
Fireproof and anti-static design
Complies with API 607 fire protection standards and is used in flammable and explosive environments (oil depots, hazardous areas of chemical plants).
