WCB angle pattern globe valve is a type of globe valve with inlet and outlet flanges positioned at a 90-degree angle. Its closure member is a plug-shaped disc with a sealing surface that is either flat or conical. The disc moves linearly along the fluid's centerline.
By rotating the valve stem, the valve plug (plug-shaped disc) is raised or lowered, adjusting the clearance between the plug and the seat to regulate fluid flow and pressure. When the plug is fully inserted into the seat, the valve is in the closed position, with zero clearance between the plug and seat, preventing fluid passage.
