Pneumatic flat gate valve employs an upstream and downstream elastic pre-tightening sealing structure, achieving bidirectional sealing through continuous contact between the valve seat and the sealing material. Its self-cleaning seat design reduces airflow erosion, and wear-resistant lubricating materials are used to extend service life. The actuator features a modular, independent configuration, supporting pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic operation. Models below DN300 are equipped with a handwheel, while models above DN350 utilize helical gear drive.
The valve body is welded from stainless steel plate, featuring an internal design with a linked tapered reflux hole and purge hole to prevent media residue and reduce gate wear. It is suitable for pressure ratings from PN1.6 to 10.0 MPa, covering diameters from DN50 to 1000, and is made of materials including cast steel, cast iron, and stainless steel, conforming to international standards such as API6D and GB/T12220.

Pneumatic flat gate valve Structural Features
- Bidirectional Sealing Design: Utilizing an elastic pre-tightening floating valve seat structure, both upstream and downstream valve seats seal simultaneously, ensuring zero leakage in both directions. When the valve expands due to heat, the pressure in the central cavity can be released through the gap between the gate and the seat, preventing overpressure damage.
- Wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant sealing surface: The valve seat sealing surface is inlaid with PTFE or welded with stainless steel/cobalt-chromium-tungsten alloy, forming a double protection of metal to metal and soft seal, which is suitable for media containing particles and is not easy to jam at high temperatures.
- Self-cleaning and anti-erosion: The valve seat is designed with a self-cleaning function to prevent the medium from directly eroding the sealing surface; the gate with guide holes always fits the sealing surface when fully open/fully closed, extending service life.
- Auxiliary sealing and lubrication: The valve body and valve cover are equipped with grease injection valves to inject sealing grease to assist sealing; the stuffing gland is also equipped with a grease injection structure to ensure zero leakage over a long period of time.
- Fully enclosed and protective design: The valve has a fully enclosed structure, and the exposed valve stem is protected by a protective cover; it is equipped with a visual indicator rod to display the valve's opening and closing status in real time.
