The manual knife gate valve can only be fully opened and fully closed, and cannot be adjusted or throttled. The gate has two sealing surfaces. When the knife gate valve is closed, the sealing surface can rely on the medium pressure to seal, that is, the medium pressure is relied on to press the sealing surface of the gate plate to the valve seat on the other side to ensure the sealing surface sealing. When the valve is closed, the gate plate must be forced to move by external force. Press against the valve seat to ensure the sealing performance of the sealing surface.
How to install and use manual knife gate valve
1. Before installation, check the valve cavity and sealing surface to ensure that no dirt or sand is allowed to adhere;
2. The bolts at each connection part must be tightened evenly;
3. Check that the packing part requires tightness, which not only ensures the sealing of the packing, but also ensures that the gate opens flexibly;
4. Before installing the valve, the user must check the valve model, connection size and pay attention to the medium flow direction to ensure consistency with the valve requirements;
5. When installing the valve, the user must reserve the necessary space for the valve drive;
6. The wiring of the driving device must be carried out according to the circuit diagram;
7. Knife gate valves must be maintained regularly and must not be collided or squeezed at will to avoid affecting the seal.
