The valve body and disc of a concentric butterfly valve are designed as concentric circles, with the disc positioned concentrically relative to the pipeline axis. The valve opens or closes by rotating the disc. The main shaft of the disc is connected to the handwheel.
Concentric butterfly valves are suitable for medium- to low-pressure pipelines with large diameters, as well as applications requiring precise flow regulation and high sealing performance. They are available with either soft-sealing or metal-sealing designs and can handle media such as water, wastewater, air, oil, steam, petroleum, and chemicals.
