What is the difference between swing and lift check valves

1. Differences in structure and action characteristics
‌Swing check valve‌
The valve disc is disc-shaped and rotates around the pin outside the valve seat. It is opened and closed by the rocker and bracket
The flow channel inside the valve is linear, and the fluid resistance is small
The closing speed is slow and water hammer is easy to occur
‌Lift check valve‌
The valve disc slides along the vertical center line of the valve body, and the guide sleeve controls the lifting of the valve disc
The valve body shape is similar to the stop valve, and the fluid resistance is large
The closing speed is fast and the sealing performance is better

Preferentially choose the lifting type: high pressure, small diameter, high sealing requirements or systems that need to be closed quickly
Pulsating flow or frequent opening and closing conditions recommend butterfly or slow closing check valves
