2 Way Electric Ball Valve

Jan 30, 2026 Leave a message

The electric two-way ball valve opens and closes by rotating the ball 90 degrees via an electric actuator. The valve body passage and connecting pipe diameter are equal and form a single diameter, ensuring virtually no loss of medium during flow. This valve is widely used in water treatment, long-distance pipelines, chemical, papermaking, environmental protection, water conservancy, and power industries, and is particularly suitable for applications requiring remote control and automated operation.

2 Way Electric Ball Valve Working Principle

  • Electrified Drive: The electric actuator receives a control signal (such as a digital or analog signal), the motor starts, and drives the ball to rotate.
  • Position Feedback: A position sensor monitors the ball's angle in real time to ensure the valve opening matches the command.
  • Power Failure Protection: Some models are equipped with a manual operation device, allowing manual switching of the valve status in case of power failure.

2 Way Electric Ball Valve Features

Automated Control
Supports remote operation and centralized management via PLC, DCS system, or smart terminal (e.g., mobile app).

Fast response time; opening and closing time is typically less than 10 seconds, suitable for scenarios requiring rapid switching.

High Reliability
The sealing structure employs dual protection (e.g., soft seal + metal seal), making it wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant.

The electric actuator features overload protection and anti-jamming functions, extending its service life.

Energy Saving and Environmental Protection

Power is consumed only during switching or regulation; there is no power consumption when static, meeting green building standards.

Low fluid resistance reduces system energy consumption.

Flexible Installation
Supports horizontal or vertical installation, adapting to different piping layouts.

Standardized interface (e.g., flanges, threads) facilitates integration with existing systems.

2 Way Electric Ball Valve Applications

Electric two-way ball valves are widely used in the following fields due to their excellent performance and wide range of applications:

  • Water Treatment: Used for media control in water treatment systems such as tap water, sewage, and reclaimed water.
  • Long-Distance Pipelines: Used as shut-off or regulating valves in long-distance pipelines for oil and natural gas.
  • Chemical Industry: Used for media control and regulation in chemical production processes.
  • Paper Making: Used to control the flow of media such as pulp and water in papermaking processes.
  • Environmental Protection: Used for media control in environmental engineering systems such as wastewater treatment and air purification.
  • Water Conservancy and Power: Used for media control and regulation in water conservancy facilities such as reservoirs and hydropower stations, as well as power plants.
