Wafer gate valve Description
Wafer gate valve is a compact gate valve that is directly clamped between the pipe flanges through the flange holes on both sides of the valve body. It uses knife-type or parallel gates as opening and closing parts, and the medium is cut off by lifting the gate. It is specially used in industrial control scenarios containing solid particles and high-viscosity fluids.
Structure:
Valve body assembly: It includes valve body, valve cover, and valve seat. The materials are mostly ductile iron (QT450), stainless steel (304/316), and carbon steel (WCB). The thickness of the valve body of DN50~DN600 specifications is controlled in the range of 30-120mm.
Gate type:
Knife-type gate: Edge quenching treatment (HRC45-50), can cut off fibers and granular impurities, and is suitable for media with a solid content of ≤25%.
Parallel double gate: With spring preloaded structure, it has both low-pressure sealing and high-pressure anti-scouring capabilities.
Drive mode: Manual (handwheel/handle), electric (such as PZ973 electric actuator), and pneumatic.

Inspection and quality control
- Factory inspection items
Shell strength test: 1.5 times the nominal pressure (PN1.6 valve requires 2.4MPa) for 5 minutes, no leakage.
Sealing performance test: 1.1 times the nominal pressure in the forward direction (0.6 times in the reverse direction), leakage ≤DN×0.1ml/min.
Action test: full stroke opening and closing 3 times, valve stem torque fluctuation ≤15%.

Roughness of the gate and valve seat sealing surface Ra≤0.8μm, contact area≥85%.
Valve stem straightness error ≤0.05mm/m, thread fit clearance ≤0.1mm
