Disc Type Check Valve

‌Disc check valve‌ is a valve that realizes one-way flow control based on a disc-shaped valve disc. Its core feature is to block the backflow of the medium through the rapid closing action of the disc and the valve seat, and it also has the characteristics of low flow resistance and water hammer resistance.

‌Core components‌

‌Disc system‌: The circular metal disc (or composite material) is the core closing part, and the outer circumference of the disc is integrated with the guide sleeve and bearing to ensure the stability and self-locking during rotation and closure; ‌Seal design‌: It adopts metal hard seal (such as tungsten carbide spray) or elastic soft seal (polytetrafluoroethylene), the sealing surface fitting accuracy is ≤0.05mm, and the leakage level meets the ANSI Class VI standard; ‌Valve body material‌: cast iron, cast steel or stainless steel (such as 316L), the pressure resistance level covers Class 150~600, and the temperature range is -20°C~200°C.
‌Workflow‌

‌Forward flow‌: The medium pushes the disc to rotate around the bearing to a fully open state (opening angle of about 75°~90°), and the flow resistance coefficient is as low as 0.1~0.3; ‌Reverse closing‌: During backflow, the disc quickly fits the valve seat under the reverse pressure of the medium and gravity, and the closing time is ≤0.5 seconds, effectively suppressing the water hammer effect.
