Irrigation check valve Description
Irrigation check valve is a one-way valve specially used in agricultural irrigation systems. It prevents water backflow through an automatic opening and closing mechanism to ensure safe and stable operation of irrigation equipment. Its core functions include:
Blocking backflow: The valve disc is quickly closed to prevent the water flow from impacting the pipeline and equipment in the opposite direction when the water pump stops;
Protecting the water pump: Avoiding the backflow of water from damaging the water pump impeller or drive motor, and extending the life of the equipment;
Maintaining system stability: Reduce the water hammer effect and avoid the failure of the irrigation system caused by pipeline pressure fluctuations.
Working principle
Forward flow: The water flow pressure pushes the valve disc (such as a rubber disc or a metal disc) to open, allowing the medium to pass normally;
Reverse flow: After the water pump stops, the valve disc automatically closes under gravity, spring force or backflow pressure to block the backflow of water.
