grooved check valve Description
Grooved check valve is a check valve with a grooved connection design. It realizes one-way flow control of the medium through the automatic opening and closing of the valve disc. It is mainly used to prevent fluid backflow and reduce water hammer effect in pipelines. Its core functions include:
One-way flow control: only allows one-way flow of fluid to block backflow;
Noise reduction and shock absorption: reduce the impact noise of valve disc closing through spring pre-tension and other designs;
Quick installation: adopts groove clamp connection to simplify the installation process.
Core structural features
Valve body design:
Groove connection: Grooves are set at both ends of the valve body, and the adapter clamps are installed quickly (compared with traditional flange/threaded connections);
Silencer assembly: The built-in spring and lightweight valve disc are combined to shorten the closing stroke to suppress water hammer noise;
Valve disc and seal:
The valve disc is made of stainless steel or copper alloy, and the sealing surface is covered with EPDM or PTFE material, which is suitable for media such as water and oil;
The spring-assisted closing design ensures rapid closure when the pump is stopped, reducing the risk of backflow;
Applicable specifications:
The nominal diameter range is wide (DN50~DN600), suitable for medium and low pressure pipelines (PN≤2.5MPa).

Selection points:
For corrosive media, choose PTFE seal + stainless steel valve body;
For high flow scenarios, the swing structure is preferred (to reduce flow resistance);
Installation requirements:
When installing horizontally, the valve cover should face upward to ensure the correct direction of spring reset;
Before installation, the pipe welding slag must be removed to prevent scratching the sealing surface.
