The disc features an inclined circular design that smoothly opens or closes with fluid flow direction. The valve stem functions as the operating mechanism, typically controlled manually or automatically.
The working principle of carbon steel tilting disc check valve relies on the disc's free sliding under fluid pressure. When fluid flows in the same direction as the disc's inclined surface, hydraulic pressure pushes the disc open, enabling unrestricted passage through the valve body. Conversely, when fluid flows against the inclined surface, pressure resistance causes the disc to close, effectively preventing backflow.
