Ductile Iron Double Flanged Butterfly Valve Description
Ductile iron double flange butterfly valve is a butterfly valve with ductile iron valve body and flange connection at both ends. It can cut off the pipeline medium or adjust the flow rate by rotating the butterfly plate. It is suitable for low to medium pressure conditions in water treatment, chemical industry, energy and other industries.
Core structure and performance features
Main material and design: Valve body material: Ductile iron (QT450-10), which has both the casting properties of cast iron and the mechanical properties of steel, with a tensile strength of ≥450MPa and better corrosion resistance than ordinary cast iron. Double flange connection: Both ends are equipped with flanges (in accordance with GB/T 9113 standard), suitable for DN50~DN600 pipes, with adjustable flange spacing, suitable for high pressure (≤PN16) scenarios. Sealing and drive: Sealing form: Soft seal (EPDM/PTFE lining): Leakage level reaches ANSI Class VI, applicable temperature -20℃~150℃, suitable for clean media such as water and gas; Hard seal (hard alloy overlay): Temperature resistance ≤550℃, resistant to particles or high-temperature steam. Drive mode: Mainly manual (turbine/handle), some models support pneumatic or electric actuators, operating torque ≤50N·m.
