Heavy-duty ball valves are designed for high pressure, high temperature, strong corrosion or high wear conditions. The core features are the enhanced structural design and high-performance material application to ensure long-term stable operation in extreme environments. Typical application scenarios include oil and gas transportation, chemical reaction equipment and nuclear power systems.
Structural composition Heavy-duty ball valves are composed of the following key components: Valve body and ball : The valve body is cast with forged steel or high-temperature alloy (such as Inconel 625), and the thickness is increased to withstand high pressure. The surface of the ball is sprayed with tungsten carbide or surfacing with Stellite alloy to improve wear resistance.
Sealing system : Hard seal valve seat : Metal-to-metal seal (such as 316L stainless steel + nickel-based alloy), temperature resistance up to 650℃.
Spring preload device : Keep the valve seat and the ball in dynamic fit, compensate for wear and prevent medium leakage.
Drive and safety components:
The valve stem adopts an anti-flyout design and is equipped with high-temperature resistant graphite packing to prevent medium leakage.
Optional explosion-proof pneumatic/electric actuators can meet the needs of automated control in hazardous environments.
