Marine ball valves are valves designed for marine environments, mainly used to control the flow direction and on-off of media such as water, fuel oil, and steam. Its core features include:

‌Corrosion resistance‌: Made of 304L, 316L stainless steel or titanium alloy, suitable for corrosive media such as seawater, oil and gas;
‌Pressure resistance‌: Working pressure covers 1.0~50.0MPa, suitable for ship high-pressure pipeline systems;
‌Wide temperature range adaptation‌: Working temperature range -196℃~650℃, meeting extreme environmental requirements.

Selection Guide:
Pressure level: Select according to the system design pressure (such as Class 600~1500 commonly used in fuel systems);
Media matching: Strongly corrosive media require sprayed ceramic or PTFE-lined ball valves;
Drive mode: Pneumatic/electric drive is preferred for high-frequency operation scenarios (response time ≤ 0.5 seconds).
Certification requirements:
Must comply with ship industry standards (such as ISO 10423, API 6D) and classification society certification (CCS, DNV, etc.).
Maintenance specifications
Periodic inspection: Check the seal surface wear and valve stem lubrication status every 6 months, and shorten to 3 months in high temperature/vibration environment;
Fault handling: Minor internal leakage can be repaired by injecting special sealing grease, and severe wear requires the replacement of the valve seat as a whole;
Life management: It is recommended to perform a full valve pressure test and sealing verification every 5 years for metal-sealed ball valves.
