vee ball valve Description
The V-type ball valve is a valve that achieves flow regulation and cutoff by rotating the ball with a V-shaped cutout, and has both switching and regulating functions. Its core design is adapted to the precise control of fiber-containing, particle-containing or viscous media through the shearing effect of the V-shaped cutout and the valve seat, and the adjustable ratio is up to 100:1.
Core structure
Ball: V-shaped cutout design is adopted, and the cross-sectional area of the flow channel is changed by the rotation angle to achieve linear or equal percentage flow regulation; Valve seat: metal or polytetrafluoroethylene material, tightly matched with the ball to ensure high-pressure sealing; Actuator: can be configured with electric or pneumatic (such as cylinder or diaphragm) drive, supporting automatic control.
Working principle
When the ball rotates 0°~90°, the V-shaped cutout and the valve seat form a gradual flow area, achieving precise flow regulation and rapid cutoff.

Difference from O-type ball valve
Functional difference
V-type: mainly for adjustment function, taking into account the switch, suitable for precise control of impurity-containing media;
O-type: mainly for fast switching, full-diameter design with small flow resistance, suitable for clean media cutoff.
Structural design
V-type ball: single-sided V-shaped cutout, flow rate is adjusted by rotation angle;
O-type ball: circular through hole, the flow channel is equal to the pipe diameter when fully open, and there is no throttling effect.
Applicable scenarios
V-type: high viscosity or particle-containing systems such as papermaking and sewage treatment;
