Manual Floating Ball Valves

Manual floating ball valve is a valve that opens and closes by controlling the floating ball to rotate 90 degrees through a manual drive mechanism (handle or worm gear). The ball automatically presses the outlet seal ring under the pressure of the medium to form a two-way seal. It is suitable for controlling water, steam, oil and weakly corrosive media.

‌Self-tightening seal ‌: The medium pressure pushes the ball to press the valve seat, and the seal relies on the pre-tightening force at low pressure, and the sealing effect is enhanced at high pressure ‌.

Selection and maintenance recommendations

Selection points

Media matching:
For highly corrosive media, choose 316L stainless steel + hard seal valve seat.
For medium containing particles, choose patented ceramic hard seal structure.

Pressure level:
For low pressure system (PN16~PN40), choose soft seal; for high pressure (PN63 and above), choose hard seal.

Maintenance recommendations

Regular inspection: Check the wear of the seal ring every 1~2 years, and shorten it to 6 months for high pressure conditions.

Lubrication and maintenance: Apply high temperature grease (such as silicone grease) regularly to the valve stem thread and guide groove to avoid jamming.
