Forged Steel Flanged Ball Valve Description
Forged steel flange ball valve is a high-pressure valve manufactured by forging technology. It is installed in the pipeline system through flange connection and uses the rotation of the ball to realize the opening and closing or flow direction control of the fluid. Its core functions include:
High-pressure cutoff: suitable for long-distance pipelines such as oil and natural gas, with a pressure rating of up to PN10-PN50MPa (ANSI CLASS600-2500).
Bidirectional sealing: bidirectional zero leakage is achieved through metal hard sealing structure, supporting bidirectional flow of media.
Structural and design features
Valve body and forging process: The valve body is made of forged carbon steel, stainless steel or alloy steel (such as A105, F304/F316), and the pressure resistance and impact resistance are improved through precision forging process.
Flange connection complies with GB, ANSI, and DIN standards to ensure reliable docking with the pipeline system.
Sealing and safety design:
Metal hard seal: The surface of the ball and the valve seat is sprayed with tungsten carbide or hard alloy, which is resistant to high temperature (-29℃ to 300℃) and high pressure, fireproof and anti-static.
Double safety mechanism:
Automatic pressure relief: When the valve cavity is abnormally pressurized, the medium pushes the valve seat away from the ball to release the pressure, and automatically resets after the pressure is released.
Emergency seal: When the soft seal fails due to fire, the ball and the valve seat form a metal-to-metal temporary seal.
Operating mechanism:
Supports manual (worm gear), pneumatic, electric or hydraulic drive, and can be opened and closed by rotating 90°
