Deadman Ball Valve

Deadman Ball Valve is a ball valve equipped with an automatic safety locking mechanism that automatically shuts off the flow of media in the event of a manual interruption or system failure.57 The valve achieves emergency shut-off by means of a built-in spring device or a pneumatic actuator. The valve is equipped with an automatic safety locking mechanism. Closing mechanism

Adopt double-action spring reset structure: during normal operation, the open state is maintained by the air source/power supply, and the spring-driven ball is rotated 90° to the fully closed position in case of loss of pressure/power failure, with a response time of ≤2 seconds;
Latching torque ≥300N-m, can withstand the impact of pipeline pressure fluctuations ±15%.
Seal design

The main seal is metal hard seal + graphite reinforced PTFE composite layer, temperature range -40 ℃ ~ 350 ℃, leakage level up to API 598 Class VI;
The valve stem adopts double packing structure (graphite braided packing + V-type PTFE ring), external leakage rate ≤ 50ppm.

Implementation standards
Designed according to API 6D/ISO 14313 standard, the spring mechanism should pass 100,000 times fatigue test;
Sealing test of 150% of rated pressure and temperature cycle test of -196℃~400℃ need to be completed before leaving the factory.
