Ductile Iron Plug Valve

Ductile iron plug valve is a valve with ductile iron (QT450, etc.) as the material of the valve body, through the rotation of the conical or cylindrical plug with through holes to achieve the medium cut-off or diversion of control of the valve, its core features are as follows:
Structural features
High strength valve body
Integral cast ductile iron (QT450) valve body, tensile strength ≥ 420MPa, toughness is 3-5 times higher than ordinary cast iron, can withstand water hammer impact.
Whole wrapping surface sealing
Plug surface is covered with PTFE/rubber bushing, forming a gapless face seal with the valve seat, and the sealing specific pressure is ≥0.5MPa.
Top-mounted maintenance design
No need to disassemble the pipeline, through the top valve cover can replace the sealing bushing or O-ring, maintenance time ≤ 30 minutes.
Low torque transmission
Valve stem and plug integrated design, with self-lubricating bearings, opening and closing torque is 40% lower than ordinary cast iron valves.

Strong corrosion resistance
Surface graphite spherical structure to block corrosion penetration, with epoxy resin coating can withstand pH2-12 medium.

Elongation ≥ 12%, can absorb the impact energy of pipeline water hammer, to avoid rupture of the valve body.
Flexible customisation
Support multi-channel integrated design (such as four-way distribution valve), adapted to complex process pipelines.

Technical limitations

Pressure limitation: Maximum applicable PN2.5MPa (Class150);
Temperature limitation: Temperature resistance ≤150℃ for rubber-lined version, ≤302℃ for metal-sealed version;
Driving requirements: need to be equipped with high torque actuator (25% higher than ball valve).
