API 6a plug valve Description
API 6A plug valve is a high-pressure valve specially used for oil and gas wellhead operations. It must comply with the American Petroleum Institute (API) standard 6A and is suitable for high-pressure conditions such as cementing and fracturing.
Structural features
Inverted oil seal design: Sealing grease is injected between the valve body and the lining to maintain zero leakage under high pressure (such as 15000 psi);
Cylindrical metal fitting seal: The plug (plunger) and the lining adopt high-precision hard seal, which is wear-resistant and erosion-resistant;
Fast operation: 90° right-angle rotation opening and closing, low torque, and short response time.
