Soft Seal Valve Seat Commonly Used Materials
Rubber type:
Nitrile rubber (NBR): suitable for oil, water and other media, temperature resistance range of about -30 ℃ ~ 100 ℃
Fluorine rubber (FKM): excellent acid and alkali resistance, applicable temperature -20 ℃ ~ 200 ℃.
Plastics:
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE): resistance to strong corrosive media (such as concentrated acid, alkali), applicable temperature -50 ℃ ~ 150 ℃
Reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene (RPTFE): higher compressive strength, wear resistance is better than pure PTFE
Para-polyphenylene (PPL): better high temperature resistance (up to 250℃), suitable for high temperature corrosive conditions.

Hard Seal Valve Seat Commonly Used Materials
Metal type:
Stainless steel (304/316/316L): basic corrosion-resistant materials, suitable for low-pressure corrosive media
Alloy steel (Inconel, Monel): for high temperature and pressure or strong corrosive conditions (such as H₂S environment)
Cemented carbide (tungsten carbide, silicon carbide): extreme wear-resistant, suitable for particle-containing media (e.g. slurry).
Ceramics:
Silicon Nitride/Alumina ceramics: high hardness, scour resistance, for high temperature and high pressure abrasive media.
