What is Pressure Seal Swing Check Valve

Aug 25, 2025 Leave a message

The working principle of a pressure-sealed swing check valve relies on fluid pressure and the disc's own weight. When fluid flows toward the valve, the pressure acts on the disc, causing it to rotate around the pivot pin and open the valve. The disc remains open due to the fluid's momentum, allowing normal flow. When the flow stops or reverses, the disc rotates back under its own weight or spring force to close the valve, preventing backflow.
