High-Temperature Gate Valves are classified into two main types based on gate disc structure: wedge-type (including single-disc, double-disc and flexible-wedge designs) and parallel slide-type. Valve stem drive mechanisms include rising-stem threaded transmission and non-rising rotating transmission.
The sealing design utilizes self-sealing principles, combining hard alloy welding on sealing surfaces with flexible graphite packing. Some models employ elastic wedge compensation to compensate for machining deviations and improve sealing performance.
During installation:
The double-disc type must be installed vertically
Models with bypass valves require preliminary pressure differential balancing
Bevel gear drives or electric actuators are available to meet different operational requirements.
Key Features:
- Heat-Resistant Materials – Constructed from alloy steel, stainless steel, or chrome-moly for durability at elevated temperatures.
- Robust Seal Design – Features reinforced seats and stem packing to prevent leakage under thermal stress.
- Thermal Stability – Engineered to handle hig temperatures , depending on material.
- Flexible Operation – Available in manual, gear-operated, or actuated versions.
Applications:
Power plants (steam & boiler systems)
Refineries & petrochemical processing
High-temperature gas pipelines
Industrial furnaces & heat treatment systems
