What is Dynamic Balance Electric Control Valve

Dec 30, 2025 Leave a message

The Dynamic Balance Electric Control Valve is a combination of a dynamic differential pressure balancing valve and an electric control valve. It maintains a constant pressure in the electric control valve when system pressure changes, ensuring that the flow rate remains unchanged despite system pressure fluctuations.

Working Principle:

The electric actuator receives control signals and drives the valve core to change the valve opening, thereby regulating the flow rate, pressure, and level of the medium. Simultaneously, the built-in constant pressure device balances system pressure changes, ensuring a stable flow output under various operating conditions.

Key Features

  • High-Precision Control: The dynamic balance electric control valve enables high-precision flow control, thereby achieving accurate regulation of parameters such as temperature and pressure.
  • Stable and Reliable: Due to its built-in constant pressure device, the valve maintains stable flow even when system pressure fluctuates, avoiding the flow fluctuation problems caused by pressure changes in traditional electric control valves.
  • Energy Saving and Environmentally Friendly: The dynamic balance electric control valve only consumes electrical energy during operation, resulting in significant energy savings. Furthermore, its zero carbon emissions meet environmental protection requirements.
  • Easy Installation: The electric actuator is available in various forms to suit different current signal control, simplifying the installation process.
  • Convenient Maintenance: The valve has a compact structure, making it easy to maintain and repair. In case of electric actuator failure, the power can be quickly shut off for maintenance, reducing maintenance costs.

Selection and Installation Considerations

Selection Parameters:

Nominal Diameter (DN15-DN500): Select according to pipeline flow requirements. For example, when the flow rate of the terminal equipment in an air conditioning system is ≤5m³/h, a DN25 valve can be selected.

Differential Pressure Range (30-300KPa): Must cover the system's maximum and minimum operating differential pressure to avoid valve noise or vibration.

Select temperature-resistant materials according to the medium type (water, steam, oil, etc.). For low-temperature conditions, additional materials are required.

Installation Precautions:

Vertical installation is preferred. If the tilt angle exceeds 15°, additional supports are needed. When the pipeline height is >2m, an operating platform should be provided for easy maintenance.

Clean the pipeline before installation to remove welding slag and contaminants. After installation, open all valves when introducing the medium to prevent impurities from jamming the valve core.

Electrical components should be installed according to explosion-proof requirements (e.g., explosion-proof products must comply with the "Installation Specifications for Electrical Equipment in Explosive Hazardous Locations"). Use SBH type six-core rubber-insulated cable with an outer diameter of approximately Φ11.3mm.
