Lug-type butterfly valve is a butterfly valve that is fixed on the pipeline through lug connection. The two sides of the valve body are designed with lug structures and are connected to the pipeline flange through stud bolts. It is suitable for fluid control scenarios with high pressure, frequent disassembly and harsh working conditions.
Core structure
Valve body and lug design: The valve body is mostly made of stainless steel or cast steel. The lugs are divided into through-hole type (A type) and through-hole internal thread type (LT type), which simplifies installation positioning and enhances connection stability.
Drive and sealing structure: It supports manual, worm gear, pneumatic or electric drive. The sealing form can be selected as soft seal (PTFE/rubber) or hard seal (hard alloy), and the pressure range covers PN0.1-10MPa.
Double eccentric or triple eccentric valve plate design reduces opening and closing friction and improves sealing (up to ANSI V grade leakage standard).
Performance characteristics
Installation convenience: The lug connection does not require bolts through the valve body, only short bolts are required to fix it, which reduces the difficulty of installation and the risk of compression deformation of the sealing surface.
High pressure resistance and sealing:
The double eccentric structure combined with elastic sealing gasket is suitable for high pressure (≤10MPa) and high temperature (some models up to 650℃) environments.
Resistance to medium impact:
The full-bore flow channel design reduces medium retention, and the blade-shaped gate can cut off fibers and granular impurities, which is suitable for the control of fluids containing impurities.
